        Pharmacists are essential healthcare providers who elevate the standard of care for patients. They serve in community pharmacies, in hospitals and as researchers. Their skills extend beyond the lab - they are also communicators, business entrepreneurs and educators. 

        Keeping in mind the above, Umalok College of Pharmacy currently offers the following two courses:

1.   B.Pharm. (Bachelor of Pharmacy): 

       The Bachelor of Pharmacy program prepares you for careers in the pharmaceutical, consumer products, and healthcare industries. As a B.Pharm. graduate, you will be qualified to seek a diverse range of career options, including research and development, manufacturing, product marketing, and administrative positions within the pharmaceutical industry, as well as careers in research and regulatory oversight within government agencies.

      We recognize that hands-on experience is just as important as the knowledge-based learning gained in the classroom. Required laboratory courses will provide broad and consistent training for all students. Experiences in companies or faculty research labs are optional, but highly encouraged and supported by the program.

       To help students develop a clear understanding of the scope of Pharmaceutical Sciences early in the 4 year program and to learn about, understand, and apply for internships, B. Pharm. course has been designed.

Eligibility for Admission: 10+2 pass with 60% marks in Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subject Mathematics or Biology. Minimum 17 years of age. Click here to apply



2.   D.Pharm. (Diploma in Pharmacy): 

        Diploma in Pharmacy is a short-term program for aspirants who want to foray into pharmaceutical business and pharmacy jobs. The course is ideal for students who seek short program in the pharmacy domain.

        Diploma in pharmacy can also be pursued in order to understand the basics of the program and pursue advanced courses in this field.

        The program covers basic pharmacy education including the application of chemistry in the pharmaceutical industry, concepts of biochemistry, pharmacology and toxicology. The program enables the students to learn about different chemical salts, their application and uses in medicine. The program holds good value in the pharmaceutical industry.
